Europe could be involved in talks on a peaceful resolution to Russia's war on Ukraine.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and the Russian dictator has sparked a strong reaction, CBS News reported.
He said we have to realize that there is no process right now and that Trump and Putin have expressed interest in ending this conflict.
“If it's going to be a real negotiation, and we haven't gotten to that point yet, but if it happens, we're going to have to involve Ukraine because that's who was invaded, and the Europeans because they have sanctions against Putin and Russia. They have contributed to this effort. We just haven't gotten to that point yet,” Rubio emphasized.
