US President Donald Trump has stated that under his presidency, the US is not only not spending money to support Ukraine in its war against Russia, but is actually making money from it.
“Joe Biden gave them $350 billion, and I'm not giving them anything. But I gave them Javelins at the beginning... but Obama gave them blankets...,” he said.
According to Trump, the situation is now excellent, but there is one problem: “Many people are dying, and I want that to stop.”
He reiterated that 27,000 military personnel were killed in Ukraine last month, mainly Ukrainian and Russian soldiers, according to Ukrinform.
Trump recalled that the US sells its weapons to NATO countries at full price, and NATO transfers them to Ukraine.
“I think they could transfer them to others, but they mainly transfer them to Ukraine. And they are working with Ukraine on the terms of distribution of weapons, missiles, and the like. But we are not spending money, we are spending time on humanitarian purposes,” he said.
