During the meeting of the Ukrainian and US delegation in Jeddah, various options for security guarantees were discussed.

“We considered different options today and different ones are on the table today. Since these consultations, these negotiations are still ongoing, I would not like to talk about any specific ones today. But these are definitely the guarantees that will a hundred percent prevent any aggression in the future,” he said.

According to Yermak, the US should further discuss with the Russian side the proposals worked out during the meeting.

“After this meeting, it is the Russian side that holds the key today. And the whole world will see who wants peace, and who does not want it and only talks about it,” he said.
