“It saddens me to see Elon Musk go completely off the rails,” he said.

In Trump's opinion, Musk has turned into a “train wreck” in the past five weeks.

"He even wants to create a third political party, despite the fact that such parties have never succeeded in the US - the system doesn't seem designed for them. The only thing third parties are good for is creating complete and total chaos. I think creating a third party is a no-brainer. We have had tremendous success with the Republican Party. The Democrats have lost their way, but it's always been a two-party system, and I think creating a third party would only add to the confusion. He can have fun with it, but I think it's pointless," he said.
