North Korea has confirmed its participation in the war against Ukraine

The military was sent to Russia on the orders of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in accordance with a mutual defense treaty between Pyongyang and Moscow, Yonhap reported.

After it was determined that the situation met the conditions for the application of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty with Russia, Kim Jong-un decided to involve our armed forces in the war and informed the Russian side.

The DPRK confirmed the participation of its troops in the fighting in Russia's Kursk region.
