He stressed that such actions are a direct attack on a NATO ally.

The congressman called on US President Donald Trump to impose sanctions that could paralyze the Russian military machine, as well as provide Ukraine with modern weapons to strike Russian territory. He noted that Putin is no longer limited to the war in Ukraine, but is now testing NATO's resolve on its own territory.

“Putin is no longer content with defeat in Ukraine, bombing mothers and babies; now he is directly testing our resolve on NATO territory. Putin has said that ‘Russia knows no borders’. Free and prosperous nations will teach Russia what borders are,” he said.
