Traitors were preparing a missile attack on F-16 airfields

“According to the results of the special operation near one of the military airfields of Ukraine with red-handed detained two agents rf, who photographed the takeoff of F-16. According to the materials of the case, the accomplices of the enemy turned out to be two residents of Kremenchug at the age of 22 and 21 years. The defendants were recruited by a female FSB officer, whose identity has already been established by the SBU,” the SBU said.

The task of the agents was to collect the exact coordinates of the main and reserve airfields and aviation infrastructure facilities of Ukraine, so that in the future the enemy could launch missile and drone strikes on them.

In addition to geolocations, they were to make text and photo reports indicating and describing what kind of equipment was located at each of the facilities.

To fulfill this instruction, the agents planned to travel by shuttle buses to 5 regions of Ukraine. Near each of the potential sites, they planned to rent accommodation to spy and film the “target” for several days.

SBU officers exposed both agents at the initial stage of enemy intelligence activities, documented their visits to several regions and detained them while photographing F-16 fighter jets.

The SBU took comprehensive measures to ensure the security of the Defense Forces' locations.

During their detention, the traitors' cell phones with evidence of working for the enemy were seized.

SBU investigators informed the agents of suspicion under part 2 of Article 28, part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons under martial law).

The attackers are in custody without the right to bail. They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
