Trump announces complete blockade of Venezuela

Trump accused Venezuela of stealing American assets, particularly oil and land.

"The Maduro regime uses oil from these stolen oil fields to finance its drug terrorism, human trafficking, murders, and kidnappings. For stealing our assets and for many other reasons, including terrorism, drug smuggling, and human trafficking, the Venezuelan regime has been designated a foreign terrorist organization. Therefore, today I am ordering a complete and total blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers entering and leaving Venezuela," he wrote.

Trump noted that Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest armada ever assembled in the history of South America.

“It will only grow, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever experienced before — until they return all of the oil, land, and other assets they have stolen from the United States of America,” he said.
