US President Donald Trump will be able to bring an end to Russia's war against Ukraine because Russia wants to do business with the US.
“I think we will achieve this, yes. I think he really wants to do business with the US, but it worked with India, and it worked with Pakistan, and it worked with 60% of these countries,” he added.
Trump noted that tariff threats have so far helped him settle wars, to which a journalist remarked that this did not work with Putin, CBS News reports.
"I behaved differently with him because, on the one hand, we don't do that much business with Russia, you know? He's not one of those who buys a lot from us out of stupidity. And I think he would like to be like that. I think he wants to come and trade with us, and he wants to make a lot of money for Russia, and I think that's great. That's what I like," he said.
