Trump will be able to end the war in Ukraine in the near future

“I think we will reach an agreement at some point, hopefully in the near future,” he said.

Trump recalled the military losses in the war in Ukraine, RBC-Ukraine reports.

“So I don't know if you've seen the numbers that have just been released. Thirty thousand soldiers have died this month,” he said.

Trump avoided directly answering a question about additional sanctions against Russia, which he discussed with Senator Lindsey Graham.

"We discussed them constantly. I don't think he's very interesting to talk to. Except when we talk about legislation. And we talk about legislation constantly. Do you think it's an exciting relationship? It's not. But we... we talk a lot about legislation, and we have some great legislation coming up," he said.
