US supports providing Ukraine with air defense systems

“And we want them to have air defense assets. We want them to be able to counter missiles flying in their direction,” said US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce.

She said that discussions are underway to have our European partners who have such systems hand them over to Ukraine, European Pravda reported.

“There are several different parties involved and the State Department is not involved. It's about ammunition, procurement and everything else,” Bruce added.

She assured that the U.S. will do everything in its power, which is beyond question.

“Our goal is to ensure the end of this war, and we remain focused on that,” Bruce summarized.
