Security guarantees
Allies have completed work on security guarantees for Ukraine, and they are now ready for political approval.
The work done by military leaders after the Ukraine summit at the White House in mid-August paved the way for swift action once a peace agreement is reached, dpa reports.
“Thanks to the contribution prepared, documented, and confirmed this afternoon at the level of defense ministers under strict secrecy, we can now say: this work is complete and ready for political approval,” said French President Emmanuel Macron.
