US President Donald Trump did not call Ukraine an equal participant in peace talks.
Asked whether he considers Ukraine an equal participant in the peace process, Trump said it was an interesting question, European Pravda reported.
“I think they should make peace. Their people are being killed and I think they should make peace. I said it was a bad war that shouldn't have been fought. And I think they should make peace. That's what I think,” Trump said.
When asked if Trump supports Zelensky ceding or trading territory to end the war, he said, “He's going to have to do what he has to do, but his ratings are not very high, to say the least.”
Trump does not think there is a danger that Zelensky's participation in the negotiation process will be frozen.
