Russia could seize Ukrainian territories in the coming months, - Trump

Trump justified the need for territorial concessions on the part of Kyiv, citing the successful advance of Russian troops and the desire to save lives, according to Ukrainska Pravda.

"Look at how things are going: if you look, everything is moving in one direction. So, in the end, this land may well be captured by Russia in the next few months. So do you want to fight and lose another 50-60 thousand people? Or do you want to do something now?" Trump said.

According to Trump, the process of agreeing on a peace deal is difficult, but the parties are beginning to understand that an agreement could be beneficial for everyone. He noted that the initial plan consisted of 28 points, but now it has been reduced to 22, most of which have already been agreed upon.

Regarding the territorial issue and the demarcation line, Trump explained that discussions are underway to regulate the border.

"They are talking about... trying to clear the border. You know, you don't put a border through a house. You can't put a border in the middle of a highway. So they're trying to come up with something. It's a complicated process and not so quick," he said.

When asked about security guarantees for Ukraine and the role of the US, Trump noted the role of Europe. He stressed that European partners will be heavily involved in the process because they really want it to end.
