The invasion of our country will be stopped - Trump

Trump promised to quickly fulfill a major promise of his presidential campaign, Reuters reported.

“Before sunset tomorrow, the invasion of our country will be stopped. This is the greatest political movement in American history, and 75 days ago we won the epic political victory our nation has ever seen. Today, I will act with historic speed and force to solve every crisis our country faces,” he said.

The Trump administration plans to launch raids against undocumented migrants within days of him taking office.

Border security will figure prominently in Trump's first executive orders, including classifying drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, declaring a state of emergency on the U.S.-Mexico border and reinstating the “Stay in Mexico” policy, which forces asylum seekers to wait in Mexico for U.S. court appointments.
