The US is having very constructive talks on Ukraine

"We are having very good negotiations, very constructive negotiations on Ukraine," Trump said.

He noted that Russian strikes made Ukrainian cities look as bad as Gaza and even worse, European Pravda reported.

Trump emphasized that he wants to stop the absolute carnage and added that he receives weekly reports on the number of soldiers killed in Ukraine and the numbers are staggering.

"When you hear the actual numbers in Ukraine ... numbers, and that's without taking into account the cities that have been destroyed and all the people that have been killed. So I want this to stop," he said, adding that on the Ukrainian side we are talking about 700 thousand dead soldiers, and on the Russian side about 800 thousand, and possibly more.
