President Donald Trump announced US strikes against Islamic State militants in northwestern Nigeria.
Trump called the strike against ISIS militants powerful and deadly.
“I previously warned these terrorists that if they did not stop killing Christians, they would pay a price, and tonight that happened. The Department of Defense delivered multiple precision strikes that only the United States is capable of,” he wrote.
He said that under his leadership, the US would not allow radical Islamic terrorism to flourish.
“May God bless our military, and Merry Christmas to all, including the dead terrorists, who will be many more if they continue to kill Christians,” Trump added.
