Belgium is investigating the sighting of 15 unknown drones over a military base in the east of the country.
The Belgian Ministry of Defense is investigating an incident involving 15 drones flying over the Elsenborn military base near the German border on the evening of October 2. The drones circled over the base and allegedly flew across the German border, Politico reports.
The ministry stated that the investigation is ongoing. It is currently unknown where the drones came from or who was operating them.
The type and size of the UAVs have not been reported.
