Iran launches new series of strikes on Gulf countries

The United Arab Emirates warned residents to stay in safe places, and the UAE Ministry of Defense said that air defense systems were responding to missile and drone threats from Iran, CNN reported.

In recent hours, Saudi Arabia said it had intercepted six ballistic missiles flying toward Prince Sultan Air Base. The Ministry of Defense also said it had intercepted several drones in the eastern part of the country. Earlier, the ministry reported the interception of a ballistic missile heading toward the Shaybah oil field.

In the morning, sirens sounded in Bahrain, and the Ministry of Interior called on residents to head to the nearest safe places.
