Palestinian state
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was outraged by French President Emmanuel Macron's statement recognizing Palestinian statehood.
"We strongly condemn President Macron's decision to recognize a Palestinian state next to Tel Aviv after the October 7 massacre," he wrote.
According to him, such a move rewards terror and threatens to create another Iranian proxy, as happened with Gaza.
Netanyahu is convinced that a Palestinian state under these conditions would be a launching pad for the destruction of Israel, and not for peaceful life next to it.
"Let's be honest: the Palestinians do not want a state next to Israel; they want a state instead of Israel," he concluded.
