Netanyahu wants to seize more than 70% of the Gaza Strip

Netanyahu noted that Israel is increasing pressure on Hamas, CNN reports.

"We now control 60% of the Gaza Strip. Previously, it was 50%. We have advanced to 60%. My order is to move forward, step by step, and first and foremost, to reach 70%. Let's start with that," he said.

At the end of April, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) provided maps to international humanitarian organizations showing that the military already controls approximately 64% of the Gaza Strip.
