Romanian far-right politician Kelin Georgescu, who won the annulled first round of the presidential election, said that his words about the possible annexation of some Ukrainian territories are only theoretical.
"We have to learn from our historical experience. Now the world is changing. At that time, if we talk about the period of World War II, we made a lot of mistakes, we did not quite understand how to position ourselves. And Great Romania became Little Romania. This is the reality," he said.
Georgescu explained that he spoke about the division of Ukraine as a completely theoretical hypothesis and called the politicians who criticized his remarks short-sighted, Digi24 reported.
He added that it is good to be prepared for everything.
