Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has spoken out against introducing the euro as Hungary's currency, as he believes that the EU is falling apart.

He is convinced that his country should not bind itself more closely to the EU, reports EconomX.

“Hungary should not tie its fate to the European Union any more closely than it already is, and switching to the euro would be the closest possible connection,” he said.

Orbán is convinced that the EU is in a difficult situation and is currently falling apart.

In his opinion, unless radical changes take place, this process will continue and the EU will become a thing of the past.
