The US has chosen a country to host the meeting between Zelensky and Putin

White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt commented on this issue: “I am not going to confirm or deny the location of the event.”

The Secret Service often checks various locations, and the final venue may change, but Budapest is the White House's first choice, according to Politico.

The meeting between Zelensky and Putin may take place before the end of the month, with Geneva, Vienna, Rome, Budapest, and Doha among the venues being considered.

Geneva (Switzerland) is considered the best option, while Rome or the Vatican are not liked by the Russians, and Budapest is not liked by the Ukrainians.
