Trump accused Biden of needlessly passing money to Ukraine

Trump assured that he would continue to provide aid to Ukraine, otherwise Putin would think he had won, Voice of America reported.

Trump said that the date of the meeting with Putin has not been set yet, but meetings will take place here and there. He said the first talks will probably take place in Saudi Arabia in the not too distant future.

Asked about aid for Ukraine, the US president emphasized that the money must be secured. Trump accused the previous administration of needlessly handing over money to Ukraine, and he plans to get guarantees that the money will be returned. 
“Our money will be secured. They have rare earth metals, they have oil, gas and more, and we're asking that our money be secured,” Trump said, adding that the Ukrainians have agreed to that.

He claims Ukraine has received $350 billion in aid from Washington. According to the Pentagon, the U.S. has provided more than $66.5 billion in military aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the Joe Biden administration.

Trump said Europe has provided $100 billion in loans to Ukraine. According to the Pentagon, the assistance of the Ramstein group from April 2022 amounts to more than 126 billion dollars.
