Trump did not force Zelensky to give Russia the entire Donbas region

“We believe that they should just stop at the lines where they are,” Trump said.

He denied that he had suggested to Zelensky that he give Russia the entire Donbas region, according to Reuters.

“Let it be divided as it is. It is divided right now. I think 78% of the territory has already been captured by Russia,” Trump said.

Trump added that the parties could agree on something later.
