Trump warned Netanyahu that he could find himself isolated

Trump noted that Israel was very late in informing the US about the strikes on Iran on Sunday, which have now ceased. Netanyahu indicated that the strikes could resume, Axios reports.

Trump stated that five countries in the region had called on him to intervene with Netanyahu after the recent strikes.

"These countries were very concerned. "They like the agreement we're negotiating," Trump said.

According to Trump, Iranian officials contacted him, saying they would stop the attacks if Israel backed down.

"They called us and said they wouldn't strike anymore and asked us to tell Israel to stop the attacks as well," he said.
