Ukraine causes massive fuel crisis in Russia

Ukrainian strikes have disabled more than 30% of Russia's actual and 45% of its nominal oil refining capacity, contributing to the country's worst fuel crisis since the collapse of the USSR.

The fuel crisis has forced Russian authorities to impose restrictions on sales in almost all regions of the country, and long lines have formed at gas stations, according to the Financial Times.

Russia has resumed operations at some facilities, including the Omsk Oil Refinery. However, a significant number of refineries are still out of operation, making it very difficult to supply the domestic market with fuel.
