US President Donald Trump has stated that more than 80% of Ukrainians want an agreement that would end the Russian-Ukrainian war.
He expressed the opinion that Zelensky should be realistic in his position on the negotiations. He also noted that he is interested in when the next elections will take place in Ukraine, according to European Truth.
"I really wonder how long it will take before they hold elections? This is democracy. They haven't held elections in a long time. This is a loss of a large number of people. And, you know, if you look at the polls, I would say that 82% of people want an agreement," Trump said.
He is confident that the Ukrainian people want an agreement to be reached.
“I understand that they are losing thousands and thousands of people every week. They want this to end,” he said.
