Unknown assailants open fire at bus stop in Israel

At least five people were killed, according to CNN.

Among the dead were a man in his 50s and three men in their 30s. Five people with serious gunshot wounds were hospitalized. A total of 15 people were reported injured.

The two attackers drove to the Ramot intersection in Jerusalem and opened fire in the direction of the bus stop.

At the scene of the incident, a security officer and a civilian returned fire, neutralizing the attackers.

Police units are currently securing the scene. Bomb disposal units are checking the area for safety, and forensic teams are collecting evidence.
