US launched its eleventh round of strikes on Iran

CENTCOM reported that the US military targeted Iranian military operations centers, maritime facilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and military logistics infrastructure.

They emphasized that the purpose of the strike is to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

Over the past three months, Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels transiting this international waterway, which is vital for regional and global commerce. These unjustified attacks have endangered hundreds of innocent mariners and undermined freedom of navigation.

CENTCOM emphasized that despite Iranian aggression, the Strait of Hormuz remains open to commercial shipping.

Since early May, CENTCOM forces have facilitated the transit of approximately 900 merchant vessels and 450 million barrels of crude oil.
