As White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said, commenting on the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, we can talk as much as we want about international subtleties, but we live in a real world that is ruled by force, that is ruled by coercion, that is ruled by power, CNN reports.

He called these the iron laws of the world.

The White House chief of staff emphasized that, in accordance with the “Trump doctrine,” the US will use its armed forces without remorse to protect American interests, which, according to him, are synonymous with the future of a free world.

“We are a superpower. And under President Trump, we will act like a superpower,” Miller said.
