The Russian linked hacker group Cl0p claimed to have stolen significant amounts of internal data from nearly 50 companies worldwide, including energy giant Shell, medical equipment manufacturer Philips, General Electric, and Fiserv.

The hackers claim to have stolen approximately 89 gigabytes of data from Shell and 13.5 gigabytes from Philips, according to Reuters.

The stolen documents from Shell include design drawings for energy facilities managed by the company, photographs of industrial complexes, scanned copies of technical inspection reports, and project planning materials. As for Philips, the hackers claim to have stolen schematics, drawings, and diagrams in PDF format.

Both corporations have confirmed attempts at unauthorized access to their systems and announced the launch of internal investigations, but have not yet confirmed a data leak.
