Saudi Arabia has nearly restored its pre-war crude oil export volumes after tanker transit through the Strait of Hormuz resumed.

In the six days ending Wednesday, the country exported 6.3 million barrels of oil per day, equal to the 2025 average and nearly 90% of February levels, when Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states were ramping up supplies before the war with Iran, Bloomberg reports.

On Thursday, four Saudi oil supertankers with a combined capacity of approximately 8 million barrels were spotted in the Gulf of Oman after leaving the country's main export terminals in the Persian Gulf. All vessels are owned by tanker operator Bahri and are carrying oil loaded at Ras Tanura, one of the world's largest oil export terminals.

The 6.3 million barrels per day represents the combined volume of shipments from both Yanbu and Saudi Arabia's Persian Gulf export facilities. If maintained, this level would represent a significant increase from June, when exports were around 4.5 million barrels per day, according to tanker monitoring data.
