US President Donald Trump will instruct Defense Secretary Pete Gagset to disclose government documents on extraterrestrial life and UFOs.
Trump explained his decision by citing enormous interest in the issue.
“I will instruct the Secretary of Defense, relevant departments, and agencies to begin the process of identifying and declassifying government documents related to extraterrestrial and alien life, unidentified aerial phenomena and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), as well as any other information related to these extremely complex but important issues,” he wrote.
Earlier, Trump accused former President Barack Obama of leaking classified information about aliens.
“He leaked classified information, he shouldn't do that,” Trump said.
When asked if this meant that aliens exist, Trump replied that he did not know whether they were real or not.
