Trump wants to strike Iran decisively and quickly

Trump is prepared to fulfill his repeated promises to protesters in Iran that the US will intervene militarily to support their efforts to overthrow the regime.

He has outlined to his national security team what he wants to achieve from any US military action in Iran, and the Department of Defense has prepared options that meet his objectives. These options were to be presented to Trump on Wednesday.
