US President Donald Trump announced the destruction of a bridge near Tehran.
"Iran's largest bridge has collapsed and will never be used again - more to come!" Trump said.
He called on Iran to strike a deal before it's too late, and there's still something left of a country that could still become great.
The US military command claimed responsibility for the attack, citing operational necessity for the targeting.
According to one US official, the bridge was intended to become an important route for the deployment of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones.
Iranian state media deny the military significance of the facility, emphasizing that the B1 bridge hasn't even been opened for operations yet.
