EU leaders want to attend Putin-Trump meeting

Some EU leaders will seek the right to attend the meeting between Trump and Putin, as well as ensure the participation of President Volodymyr Zelensky in any negotiations, Politico reports.

Europeans are most concerned that Trump will once again side with Putin in determining the terms of peace and will pressure Zelensky to agree to Russia's terms, possibly at the cost of ceding significant territories in the east of the country.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has instructed the formation of a committee to organize this summit.
