There was no new agreement in the government coalition to change course on lifting restrictions on long-range strikes for Ukraine on Russian territory.
German Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil, who belongs to the Social Democrat party, denied that there had been a change of course on limiting the range of weapons supplied from Germany to Ukraine, NTV reported.
“As far as range is concerned, I want to say again that there are no new arrangements that go beyond what the previous government did,” he said.
Earlier, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said that there are no longer any range restrictions for weapons supplied to Ukraine, neither from the British, nor from the French, nor from us, nor from the Americans.
