Lavrov expressed readiness for negotiations with Ukraine

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that they discussed a wide range of bilateral and international issues as part of the development of recent high-level contacts.

Lavrov briefed Rubio on the real state of affairs in the Russian-Ukrainian war and declared the inadmissibility of further arms supplies to Ukraine.

Lavrov reaffirmed Russia's readiness for a political and diplomatic resolution of the conflict and its commitment to the proposals put forward by the US side during the meeting between Putin and Trump in Anchorage.

They discussed the normalization of the functioning of Russian and US diplomatic missions.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue contacts at the level of the foreign ministries, particularly through the two countries' participation in international organizations.
