Russia should never have been excluded from the G8.
"I don't think I was really into politics at that point, but I know President Obama didn't like it and they voted against Russia. I say if they hadn't voted against Russia, which I thought was a very stupid decision, because this is a group of people who sit around a table. I've done this many times with them, and you recognize them, and I say if this had been the G8, if Russia had been in it, I think you probably wouldn't have this senseless deadly war that's going on right now. It was a very bad decision," US President Donald Trump said.
He emphasized that Russia's return to the G8 is not relevant now, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
"No, I think it's not the right time. No, we lost this chance, didn't we, eh? We lost this chance by making another great decision by some people who should have been making decisions," he summarized.
