US President Donald Trump has said that Denmark has been unable to deal with the Russian threat in Greenland for 20 years.
He said that Denmark had 20 years to eliminate the Russian threat from Greenland, but failed to do so.
“NATO has been telling Denmark for 20 years that ‘you must eliminate the Russian threat from Greenland’. Unfortunately, Denmark has been unable to do anything about it. Now the time has come, and it will be done!!!”, Trump wrote.
Trump has repeatedly emphasized that he would like to take possession of Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark.
