Trump said he had been watching the bond market, Politico reported.

"I saw last night that people were getting a little bit sick. Things had been looking pretty bleak the last couple days - and then I think it became the biggest day in the history of finance. That's a pretty significant change," Trump said and emphasized that no other president would have done what he did.
