US President Donald Trump announced a three-day delay in the introduction of new 50% tariffs on Canadian goods, which were scheduled to take effect on August 19.
According to Trump, this delay is based on the fact that Canada and the US have reached an agreement, subject to finalizing the documents.
He added that the Keystone XL oil pipeline, a project canceled by former President Joe Biden in 2021 after years of resistance from Indigenous peoples and environmental groups, could be "awakened from the grave."
