US President Donald Trump may refuse to provide aid to NATO countries in response to the lack of support from member states during the US military operation in Iran.
Trump stated that the US is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to protect European countries from Russia, according to European Pravda.
"We spent all this money. And then, when we might need help with small matters, they say, 'No, we prefer not to help.' That's a stupid statement, because we can tell them the same thing if we want, and perhaps we will," he added.
Trump mentioned the UK, Italy, and Germany among countries that have treated the US poorly.
Trump intends to attend the NATO summit in Ankara next month.
