Trump wants to save a trillion dollars

Trump said he met with the House speaker and some of the more conservative members and let them know he was in favor of significant spending cuts.

“We're going to cut spending, hopefully by more than $1 trillion, and it's all going to go into the One, Big, Beautiful Act,” he said.

Trump emphasized that together with members of the House of Representatives and senators, he will persistently promote these massive spending cuts.
