U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy for Middle East affairs Steven Whitkoff said ceasefire talks will continue in Jeddah on March 23.

On the US side, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and President Trump's national security adviser Mike Waltz will again travel to Saudi Arabia, Fox News reported.

The main topic of the meeting is detailing the agreements, particularly regarding the 30-day ceasefire.

Asked about halting shelling of energy infrastructure and targets in the Black Sea, Whitkoff said the Russians are now agreeing to both.

"I very much hope that the Ukrainians will also agree to that. We certainly have some details to discuss, but it will start on Sunday in Jeddah and we will have a good conversation to reach a positive outcome," he said.

He added that the 30-day ceasefire proposed by the US should cover energy and infrastructure in general.
