US bombed Iran for five hours

"CENTCOM concluded the latest wave of strikes on Iran at 10:15 p.m. ET on July 13. During the five-hour mission, US forces successfully struck military targets inside Iran, including Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa, and Bandar Abbas," CENTCOM reported.

Precision strikes were carried out against coastal defense systems, missile launchers, unmanned aerial vehicles, and maritime assets to limit Iran's ability to attack commercial vessels in the region, US military officials noted.

There are currently more than 50,000 US military personnel in the Middle East maintaining combat readiness in the region.
