U.S. has delivered tons of weapons and military equipment to Israel

As part of a large-scale global logistics operation, two cargo ships docked at the ports of Ashdod and Haifa. They delivered thousands of units of air and ground ammunition, military trucks, Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs), and other military equipment, according to the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

The received equipment was loaded onto hundreds of trucks and transported to military bases across the country.

Since March 2, Israel has received more than 115,600 tons of military equipment in 403 air and 10 sea shipments.

Amir Baram, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, added that cargo planes and ships are constantly on their way to the country. According to him, procurement and delivery operations will continue to expand in the coming weeks.

“This is the foundation of the ministry’s strategy—meeting all of the IDF’s needs both in the immediate term and by preparing for the challenging decade of security challenges that lies ahead,” he said.
