The PACE Bureau has approved a decision on urgent debates on Ukraine and peace talks.
The winter session of the PACE starts at noon on Monday in Strasbourg, where it is planned to take several decisions in the format of urgent debates on the Eastern European region. The Bureau on Monday agreed on the decision, further it should be formally approved in the session hall, European Pravda reported.
Ukraine is primarily concerned with the decision under the working title “European Commitments for a Just and Sustainable Peace in Ukraine”. This document will be prepared during the session and is expected to outline parliamentarians' vision of a European role in future peace talks. The document will be adopted on Thursday afternoon.
